Yeah, we know. That's so cool. I hope there will be a bunch of cool extras too.

Good luck with that. So if the quality works and you make me a copy I may travel to Chibi's and watch the movie with her. But I have to make sure that I understand everything right, Chibi's English is not as good as mine and mine is still far from perfect.

#6204 Re: Square Eyes » Lost » 23 Feb 07 :: 22:22

I don't think it's the speakers's fault. The two pilot episodes and that special thing worked fine. But like I said, it's not that the episodes are completely unwatchable. I can live with that as long as the other DVDs are okay.

#6205 Re: Square Eyes » Lost » 23 Feb 07 :: 22:12

I just hope the next DVD will be better. I mean, the episode are not completely unwatchable but it sucks when you have to turn on the sound to the fullest and it's still almost silent. I'm going to watch that special now and then look at the other DVDs.

No, being this person is my job.

#6207 Re: Square Eyes » Lost » 23 Feb 07 :: 21:44

Well, I'm not that far yet.

#6208 Re: Square Eyes » Lost » 23 Feb 07 :: 21:39

Okay, finished watching the first DVD. The sound problem didn't go away fully, but it's not that the episodes are completely unwatchable. There's something wrong with episode 7 actually, the sound gets really quiet at a few points but I think I was still able to understand the story.
Charlie is my favorite so far. Not because of the hoodies (LOL), I also like his British accent. wink

#6209 Re: Chris On Screen » Alpha Dog (STRONG LANGUAGE & ADULT CONTENT) » 23 Feb 07 :: 21:36

I was wondering about that too actually. I mean, I thought they show a lot of movies undubbed in Düsseldorf. Even more that Stuttgart does, I think.

#6210 Re: Chris On Screen » Remember The Daze (formerly The Beautiful Ordinary) » 23 Feb 07 :: 21:34

Yeah, I got used to the fuzz too. Finally. LOL When I think about the time when I first discovered that New Years Eve pictures I wasn't quite convinced about that. LOL

#6211 Re: Alles über Chris » Alpha Dog » 23 Feb 07 :: 19:18

Voraussichtliches Erscheinungsdatum in Deutschland: 22. März 2007. Dachte, ich poste das auch mal hier.

#6212 Re: Chris On Screen » Alpha Dog (STRONG LANGUAGE & ADULT CONTENT) » 23 Feb 07 :: 18:45

Hmpf. I joined that German website and tried to participate in this lottery thing, but somehow it doesn't work. sad

It's just pretty rare that they do, and usually only in those areas where it makes sense (like where there's lots of foreign speaking people or British or US Army personnel still stationed).

That's why I keep up my hopes for Alpha Dog. They still have some American personnel here in Stuttgart.

Ah yeah, The Holiday. I tried to convince Nathalie to watch it, but she didn't want to.

#6214 Re: Chris On Screen » Alpha Dog (STRONG LANGUAGE & ADULT CONTENT) » 23 Feb 07 :: 18:30

Well, a few cinemas do sometimes offer movies in English, too. I recently saw an add for that Holiday movie with Kate Winslet and Jude Law, can't remember the name. I hate that they don't do that with all movies. Ah, well.

#6215 Re: Chris On Screen » Alpha Dog (STRONG LANGUAGE & ADULT CONTENT) » 23 Feb 07 :: 18:23

Wow, cool. I mean, cool that you can win tickets, the pushback is not so cool of course.

#6216 Re: Chris On Screen » Alpha Dog (STRONG LANGUAGE & ADULT CONTENT) » 23 Feb 07 :: 18:18

I thought it's March 22. Ah well, one week earler or later doesn't really matter.

#6217 Re: Chris On Screen » Alpha Dog (STRONG LANGUAGE & ADULT CONTENT) » 23 Feb 07 :: 18:11

Well, then I have to wait for the DVD anyway. I can't just go to the Netherlands, remember?

May 1st could be earlier than I can see the movie in the theater in English.

I was just wondering ... the movie is announced to come out here in March, right? Or did they change the date?
Ah well, I just hope, they're going to show it in English somewhere near here. I might see the German version too, but first I wanna try the English one. Just to see how good I can understand, because I'm playing with the thought to buy the American DVD, not the German one.

#6221 Re: Square Eyes » Grey's Anatomy » 23 Feb 07 :: 17:54

Aaaah! This is music to my ears. LOL Did you get the list or should I send it to you again?

So what are we going to go? Move the pic and delete the posts here?
