Amber is probably the first of their JoA group to get married, right?

Congratulations and best wishes for much happiness!

I'm with Deb.  And I'm thinking that his arm is photoshopped, or whatever, to look freakishly bulked up.  I know he's bulked up in real life, but I don't think his arm muscles are THIS big...

Well, you succeeded!  Double Awwwwwww.  Are they yours?

#82 Re: Joan of Arcadia » Adam's Style » 12 Aug 11 :: 06:33

I was so taken by Adam!  I was definitely one of those older women who were attracted to the character, and to Chris.  Adam will probably always be one of my very favorite TV characters. Ever. Loved his look and style and demeanor.  And, yes, Adam did remind me of my first love in many ways.  I am so glad we have all of this wonderful FF to carry the story of Adam and Joan forward.

Well, hopefully it will be a more "evolved" screwball sex comedy.  But if Chris is in it I will watch it ...and I like Jesse Bradford.

Chris has a role in "Sleeping Around" which is being filmed now in North Carolina.  I followed up on a Twitterwatch post by an actress from the movie that said, "It was a pleasure to see the acting skills of Jesse Bradford and Chris Marquette on set yesterday in an upcoming film called Sleeping Around ."

Here's a page with some info. re: casting: http://djdalliance.blogspot.com/2011/06 … -film.html

Also in the film are Reid Ewing and Molly McCook.

I see that there was a part listed for [EDWARDO] He is a drop dead gorgeous, sexy Cuban cigar boy....3 lines, 3 scenes (97)!!!!  However, I hope that Chris's part is more substantial. :applause:

Just last week, I listened to NPR interview Andy about the suit and how it was used in LOTR and the Apes.  Really interesting interview...and he was charming!  Not Gollumy at all.

#86 Re: Chris On Screen » The Double » 10 Aug 11 :: 04:23

Sounds like something I'd be interested in.  Maybe Chris is an agent like he was in ETWM.  I'm not expecting him to have a huge role but I sure hope he has more than just a couple of minutes of screen time.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that he has at least one scene with Stephen Moyer and I'd sure like to see him get a little romance in there, too! :drool:

Hope you are doing well.  It sounds like you need to get some rest now.

#89 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 07 Aug 11 :: 22:56

I've been catching up on all of the vast amounts of Chrisinfo  (YAY!!!) on the site and started watching the various interviews for Fanboys.  Loved this one:
http://www.collider.com/entertainment/i … 814/tcid/1
and thought I picked up on some special chemistry between Chris and Kristen...or at least maybe FROM Chris towards Kristen. Anybody else think their interchange is really adorable?  Also, what is Chris saying after he says the part about her recognizing him on a random street in Hollywood.  Is he worried about being stalked?

He is just so damned personable and funny and charming in most of these interviews I've watched. How can we help but love him? sigh.

I had just been thinking about JT and his ability to reach a magnitude of audiences.  Haven't seen FWB yet but I'm betting I will enjoy it and not just 'cuz he's such a cutie.  To me, there are hotter, more beautiful actors (CM!!!) but JT is just a very likable person and he really does a great job of picking his roles.  The fact that he is willing/able to  take on supporting roles helps us see that he is generous and accepting of himself. Cool.

SERIOUSLY!  The chest, the shoulders.  The hair.  He's clean-shaven.  He just looks mahveloos.

I usually like his hair better a little longer but he sure does look great in this shot.  Love his very classy gray and black outfit.  He looks older than most of the pictures that I've seen of him on this website or elsewhere.  Chris is maturing into an even more handsome man than ever.  From the one picture I've seen of his father, when the boys were all little, he looks a lot like his dad...

#96 Re: Chris On Screen » The Education Of Charlie Banks » 18 Jul 11 :: 05:43

Well, now I have to see this one next.  I'm actually borrowing if from my public library. It sounds like something I'll really enjoy.  I'm still working my way through his movies and so far I enjoy the more serious ones.  While that may be because I'm older than dirt, I'd like to think it's also because he's just such a fabulous actor.  I've listened to some of his interviews and I have to say that his approach to his work and life are impressive to me.

On a related topic, and just to prove that older people can retain their sense of humor, I watched "Zombieland" this weekend and had a great time.  Jessie is another great actor.

We are being warned that the huge heat wave will be stretching up here to the Great Lakes starting tomorrow.  I'm just praying for our old air conditioning system to keep working.  I HATE weather over 80.

#98 Re: All About Chris » A Note From Chris! » 10 Jul 11 :: 05:03

Since I'm a "newbie" I was wondering, does Chris have access to posts to this forum???  Or can we just count on our fearless leaders to tell him how much we adore him and his work??? :dancing:

OH WOW!!!  I just realized I'm now cute lil horndog. :applause: for me!

#99 Re: All About Chris » A Note From Chris! » 09 Jul 11 :: 06:03

Wonderful news!  So glad that he got in touch with you!!!  I have to admit I've been a little concerned--just a feeling--that he might be going through a down period. Since I work a pretty mundane, day-to-day job I can hardly imagine what it's like to give so much of yourself to a project and then be kinda just hanging on, waiting, oh, and more waiting....and then nothing comes out of it.  I don't think my ego could take that!!!

All digits are crossed for the September project to come through for him.  He deserves a huge break!
