#152 Re: Introduce Yourself » Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it » 07 Jan 08 :: 04:01

What's the first thing your ever saw Chris in?
joan!!!:D

What's your favorite thing he's done so far?
Joan! :drool:

What's your favorite scene in that movie/show?
oh, this is too hard. i think it's after judith dies and he left the hospital and then he goes to joan house . he says he couldn't watch another person throw their life away. and then joan screams a bit and then she melts and she says , she loved judith. adam says " and i don't know why that doesn't matter ". that broke my heart and got me thinking a lot.

Who's your favorite Chris character and why?
adam. because he just grew on me and i couldn't shake it of.

Do you remember the first time you Googled Chris?  What site did you land on?
after viewing a few joan episodes. i got on imdb and there i saw your site was going to start. i bookmarked your site and waited to start.

What were you looking for when you found our website or how else did you stumble across it?
like i said i got it from imdb.

What role in what movie --- any movie --- past, present or potential would you love to see Chris play?
this is hard.:/  i just want to be surprised and see what chris is going to do next.

Seen any Chris movies in a theatre?
No. i would have gone to see alpha dog, since it's the only one that aired in romanian cinemas, but we were without a cinema in my town at that time. :angry:

Own any Chris movies?
yes but i did not buy them. i have joan. and the alpha dog and a lot of other goodies , thanks to the sweetness of tee-jay!!!!:)

Have anything special recorded off TV?
No , i can not record off tv.:(

What do you like most about Chris?
his acting talent. i mean , yes, he was sweet to die for in joan, but it was he's acting ability that appealed to me.

If you could ask Chris one question, what would you ask?
i would make a lousy journalist. i have no questions. i would just like to talk to him to see how he thinks.

Do you have any of Chris's lines that you can quote off the top of your head?
yes, especially the one i already said from friday night.
there is always " unchallenged ":lol:

Have you met Chris in person? If so, tell us about it.
No.

If you could have him autograph one item or photo, what would you pick and why?
i love photos but i do not care for autographs. so i would love a photo!!!

What would you want to see Chris doing next out of these?
a) a very dark and suspenseful thriller
b) a sitcom
c) a quirky and/or romantic comedy
d) a horror movie
e) a drama TV show
f) an action movie
g) a dramatic movie
h) a medical or cop show
i) a theater play
j) something else entirely (if so, what?)

i would like him in movies and not series, somehow i think it would be better for he's carrier. a dramatic movie, would be my choice.

did i got them all????
i realise i am very late in answering this, but i heard it's better late than never:P

#153 Re: Square Eyes » Great Movies I Saw This Year » 07 Jan 08 :: 03:12

i saw a lot of movies this year, but i am not sure which ones where actually made this year . does it matter???
but really great , i don't know:/ so i will tell a little about the movies i remember i saw this year.

i really thought " alpha dog " was a very good movie.
i saw " butterfly on a wheel" a few days ago. it is a decent thriller. i mean at least the ending did not make me shoot myself as most thriller do.
i was so sorry after i saw " fracture ". ryan gosling and anthony hopkins are great actors but the ending of this movie really insulted the viewers intelligence.
classics i saw this year: i only managed this year to see " breakfast at tiffany" - magical classic!!! and also a classic i saw this year - " after dark ". i think i was behind on the classics. i also saw " the way we were " - so wonderful!!! also " american graffitti" - cliques but at least it was the one that started the trend, i liked it. also this year " a clockwork orange " - great!!!
harry potter - good !!!! well, it's harry!!!:D
jane austen book club - could have been good but it wasn't
it's a boy girls thing - funny but cliques ( did i got this word ok? )\
the lookout - one part of the movie i loved, one part i disliked

i think i saw " mysterious skin" this year. if so, then i guess then this one gos to great movies category for me!!!

american gangster - soooo hollywood. didn't like it.
eastern promises - didn't like it either.
in the land of women - had potential but did not delivered
300 - bleah
ocean13 - why keep up doing this???
zodiac- got me sleepy
the illusionist - nice
rattatouille - loved it
3:10 to yuma - good thing ben foster and christian bale were in it!

hulk and another indiana and james bond????? do these movies never end???? neutral

#157 Re: Chris On Screen » Alpha Dog (STRONG LANGUAGE & ADULT CONTENT) » 07 Dec 07 :: 22:01

well to me all girls in the movie seemed a little sluty and very stupid.

#158 Re: Chris On Screen » Alpha Dog (STRONG LANGUAGE & ADULT CONTENT) » 07 Dec 07 :: 02:27

susana, the movie stucks with everybody who sees it.
just now some people i know finally saw this movie. this girl saw the movie while being at work ( well, weird i know ). but she was so socked by it that when she managed to go back home from work she set herself down and watch it again.
and i agree about emile being hot, but please no blond hair again!!!

#164 Re: Square Eyes » 2007 Emmys » 20 Sep 07 :: 21:07

i did not get a chance to read the books. they are not published in romania or at least i don't think so. and i am too busy right now, but hopefully after this month is over i will get some time off and maybe i'll buy from the net.:)
somehow i always and up behind with something. either my work, or seeing my friends or reading or seeing some movie i really wanted to see. anybody here manages to do everything???? sorry, i know i am off topic!!!:embarrassed:

#165 Re: Square Eyes » 2007 Emmys » 20 Sep 07 :: 17:55

in no way did i mean to offend anyone. i can see that there are lots of original shows in america and i am a fan of quite a lot of them. but i usually don't like remakes and to do a remake after a telenovela it's just not my style. and usualy i dislike american remakes of movies that were not american somehow they loose their foreign flavor.
but i do like america ferrara in the sisterhood of the travelling pants. it's going to be another one??? same cast???

#166 Re: Square Eyes » 2007 Emmys » 19 Sep 07 :: 01:25

yes, yes, i found it!!! thanks!!!:D

#167 Re: Square Eyes » 2007 Emmys » 19 Sep 07 :: 01:17

thank you !!! i looked up the emmy's official site and i found the speach and you quote is exact. i really don't think there is anything to censor there. that's odd!!!
i also read what the last line of the awards presentor after the win of the soprano's. " if the oworld was rulled by gangsters, hmm..., maybe it is " . that's funny!!!:D

some of the shows were never broadcated over here and i also did not download them. but some of them even if i never saw a single episde i just don't feel like watching.
" ugly betty" is one example. taking a telenovela and making it americanized sounds so silly and like there were a bunch of people who could not come up with an original ideea. and i am soory because i like america ferrara and mrs williams.
and alos i don't feel like giving " the office" a shot. steve carell seemed so silly in the 40 year old virgin!!!!

what do you think of the shows? have you seen them??? which ones do you like??

#168 Re: Square Eyes » 2007 Emmys » 19 Sep 07 :: 00:44

i didn't get a broadcasting of the emmys in romania:rolleyes:a.
it looks like i missed a lot. censorship still exist nowdays in such an obvious form??? i am surprised.
and someone really called a constitution a goddamm piece of paper????:o

#169 Re: Introduce Yourself » hi » 12 Sep 07 :: 22:32

#171 Re: Square Eyes » Misc Stuff » 09 Sep 07 :: 23:18

lets be serious, if i take the pill and the guy wears a condom and i still get pregnant, i would look for a miracle. it's true that one form a contraception is not 100%, but two of them combined are.
of course abstinence it's 100% for sure smile

#172 Re: Square Eyes » Misc Stuff » 09 Sep 07 :: 18:12

well, i agree with deb. i wanted to date since , well, since i can remember. but the thought of having sex did not crossed my mind until i was in highschool. but seeing that it can cause lots of problems i put it off until i was 21. and when i was 21 i realised , that becoming pregnant can only happen if you don't follow the right steps. i mean until then i did belive some girls who said it just happened. yes , it just happens, but not if you use condoms and the pill. so i relaxed a lot. maybe it sounds silly, but lots of people were trying to convince me, that you can becaome pregnant even if you have protected sex. :embarrassed:
samsy marie, my opinion is that you don't have to wait for the right guy for dating. because dating just means going out with a pleasent person, it doesn't have to be the father of your children. just my opinion.

#173 Re: Square Eyes » The Lookout » 30 Aug 07 :: 01:00

don't worry to much about getting it. it is exactly what you see. it is a story, portraied a little diferent. and like a friend of mine said " a stoner movie " - just joking. but this was my take on the the movie, it was about drugs and it made me feel like i was on drugs.

#174 Re: Square Eyes » The Lookout » 28 Aug 07 :: 11:10

i also watched " manic " yesterday, beeing in a joseph mood. he is awsome yet again, but the movie is avarage, especially if you saw " girls interupted " , it just screams deja -vu.

#175 Re: Introduce Yourself » hi » 25 Aug 07 :: 02:27

i did what you said tina and it works!!!! thank you!!!!
