lol. Oh, those crazy posters.

People get defensive if a movie they like is going to be remade. I hardly ever post on actual movie boards because of people surrounding them. Except Alpha Dog, I've been on there alot. I mainly stick to Buffy, Angel, maybe an actor's page and a band & the band members page.

I'm gonna have to set aside a specific date in January just to go see Fanboys. I don't watch SW, but I don't think it matters. Maybe might help to watch a few of the SW movies to get more of the film, though, right?

Well, I'm glad you're getting better.:)

Oh, sorry. One of my old hamster's I had that my uncle gave me, his name was Kramer, lived to be 4. His hair was falling out and he was going blind. Poor guy. I remember though, everytime he got out of his cage he wouldn't run off someplace, he'd always try to find you. He used curl up and sleep with me on the couch. And my cousin said he was vicous...

I think people underestimate rodents.:(

#154 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 26 Jul 07 :: 18:38

Maybe it was for the better. You know ho people are about remade movies. Especially one like ROTN.

We know how The Invisible was taken in.

You named your laptop?:)

Does anyone know why they decided to film in Bulgaria? I was kinda wondering about that. Seems like a random place to shoot, but cool.

#156 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 26 Jul 07 :: 18:29

And now we have another picture we can put in our gallery.

Does anyone else think the guy in the middle looks like Booger from Revenge Of The Nerds?:question:

#158 Re: Chris On Screen » Alpha Dog (STRONG LANGUAGE & ADULT CONTENT) » 26 Jul 07 :: 18:23

lol. Cute. We used to have a rat, but my mom made me get rid of him and she returned him to the pet store because she was scared of it. We've had mice before, but we can't have a rat.:rolleyes:

How old is Oscar?

#160 Re: Chris On Screen » The Invisible » 26 Jul 07 :: 06:31

I find it difficult to be on there when they argue about Pete's suicide. In the book which it is based on, he dies, the director, I believe, said he died. Chris said he died. Why do they have to argue about it?

I'm not sure how I feel about the cover art. It still seems like him and Annie have a closer relationship than they actually did. The trailer's seemed to make sure that they were involved, then you watch the movie: it was all a sham! The movie was still good. IMO.

I have to make sure to read the book, though. Get the full story.

Well, I hope you get to feeling better.

#162 Re: Chris On Screen » Alpha Dog (STRONG LANGUAGE & ADULT CONTENT) » 26 Jul 07 :: 06:18

Lots of green beans seem to do the trick.

And, about a year ago my cat traumatized him when she completely destroyed a bunny that had hopped in our backyard. The only thing left was it's tail and one ear. We could hear Art screaming, it took us awhile to figure out what it was since we've never heard a rabbit make any noise before, when we came out, there was my cat taking a bath and the remains of the bunny in front of Art's cage and him just sitting there totally still, eyes as wide as they could be. I swear, he stopped what he was doing every time he seen my cat afterwards.

#163 Re: Chris On Screen » Alpha Dog (STRONG LANGUAGE & ADULT CONTENT) » 26 Jul 07 :: 05:27

My poor rabbit, Art,  is probably convinced my mom's trying to kill him. Everytime she thinks the weather clears up, she puts his top down, then it starts raining and storming again.

Then, when she tries to give him air and it is sunny, she leaves the top down too long, and since he has white fur, he gets sunburned really bad. His nose and ears turn red.

So, I'm sure he's terrified of her now.:lol:

#164 Re: Chris On Screen » Alpha Dog (STRONG LANGUAGE & ADULT CONTENT) » 26 Jul 07 :: 04:32

I went and seen Bruce Almighty when it came out with a friend. I thought it was funny, but also kinda pushing it with what it was about, y'know.
Did Titanic cost 200 mill? I can't believe Evan did. I guess if you are going to spend that kinda money to make a movie, you better be positive that it will hold up.

Kinda ironic, but since when Evan came out and it was about Noah and the flood, it rained 21 days straight until it got out of number 1. So, while the previews were hot and the first(and only week) it was non-stop rain. Then gone, dry. It's still rained but every other day.
We live in Oklahoma, and the longest stretch without rain in the whole year has been 9 days.

I think they were pushing it with Bruce.. I like Steve Carrell, he's hilarious, but with Evan, no-no. I didn't go see it, it just screamed box office blow-up from the trailers.

#166 Re: Introduce Yourself » Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it » 26 Jul 07 :: 00:21

Does anyone who watches Buffy remember the episode Him in season 7, where everyone falls in love with RJ, that guy in the jacket?

Chris reminds me of that, except he doesn't need any magic to lure women in.

#167 Re: Introduce Yourself » Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it » 24 Jul 07 :: 18:25

I'm surprised no one has said they would like to be the girl in Alpha Dog with Chris pressed shirtless against her.:drool:

German's seem more about the meat. The French are into cheese. That's where my mom's family is from. She lived there for awhile as a kid, but was born here, moved there, then raised here. Now I have no family over there, she just settled her grandparents estate. I'd love to go there, but I'm terrified of going on a plane. I'm convinced it will crash.

#171 Re: Chris On Screen » Alpha Dog (STRONG LANGUAGE & ADULT CONTENT) » 23 Jul 07 :: 03:21

I wasn't expecting Justin Timberlake to act the way he did. He was actually pretty good. I thought he might turn the movie off for me, but he managed to fit in pretty well.

Chris, of course, was awesome. His character, for what little screen time, changed so much since he was introduced to the final scene he was in.

#172 Re: Chris On Screen » The Girl Next Door (ADULT LANGUAGE!!!) » 23 Jul 07 :: 03:18

I just watched the dubbed clip... different? lol
But I agree that the trailer makes it like some teen romp. I watched it because it was the only thing on TV, and afterwards I had to rent it so I could watch it without all the edits and commercial breaks.  You can't help but laugh every time you watch it, no matter how many times you have before.

#173 Re: Off Topic Stuff » What's the craziest thing you've done lately? » 21 Jul 07 :: 03:06

Well, my mom and I feed stray cats downtown which we've been doing for two years come September, and earlier this month as we were feeding one section we heard a cat, lik a kitten, crying down a hole it had fallen into that was in the side of a building. Well, it was to small, so it couldn't jump out. We couldn't really see it, so we decided to get a flashlight. We didn't have one in the car so we drove all the way back home for one. --Oh, and it was 12:30 in the morning-- So, we drove back and shined the light into the hole. We seen it was a orange tabby maybe 4 weeks old. We tried to get it out, but couldn't reach that far down. So, we started looking around for a large piece of wood hoping the kitten would crawl up out of the hole. We couldn't find one anywhere near us, so we decided to drive around where we were looking for one. All downtown we couldn't find one. So we decided to expand our search thoughout the whole town. I remembered there were pieces of large wood behind a Subway(we fed kittens there too awhile, until they got homes). We drove to Subway, and it's 1:00 in the morning now, found a large thin piece of wood that was maybe 6 ft. long. We managed to stuff it in our trunk, fold down our backseats and stick it through where it was at the front of the car several inches from the car stereo. We drove all the way back downtown with a piece of wood between us, got back to where the kitten was, dragged the wood out of our trunk and hauled it over and into the hole. We tried getting it to climb up for 15 minutes before we gave up. We hid the plywood in a shuffle of grass near the building so we could try again later. By the time all that was over and we got home it was 1:35 in the morning.
My mom was able to get the kitten out the next afternoon when she went downtown, she got help from some people who knew of her. ( my mom has become almost infamous as the "cat lady" in our town, sometimes while we're feeding the cats people will drive up and give her money for catfood to help her out )

But, only we could spen the time to try and get a kitten out of a hole for an hour and a half in the early mornings. So, that's probably the craziest thing I've done lately, if not ever.

Hi, shoothoops and Gnarly.

we often find it incredibly hard to believe that people become a fan of Chris without ever seeing that show.

Am I a bad person?:(
I watched him on Strong Medicine, and I really liked that when it was on. They'd probably would still air the reruns if they would quit running those 5 hour Army Wives marathons.

#175 Re: Introduce Yourself » Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it » 20 Jul 07 :: 14:47

Pyro, baby.

I haven't seen Joan Of Arcadia. I was young when it first came out. Of course, now that it's off the air, I want to watch it. Every single show I like either has been cancelled or is in it's last season, it seems. Except for Heroes, I've been dedicated since Genesis, the first episode.
I'll have to just buy the DVD's when I find them. I've heard alot of people talk about it. And I know it got some recognition from some award show, so I've been wanting to watch it. I think it sounds pretty cool.

And, I heard Fanboys has been pushed back to 2008. Is it a production thing, or licensing problems?
