Well, if that ain't depressing. hmm

#277 Re: Chris On Screen » Alpha Dog (STRONG LANGUAGE & ADULT CONTENT) » 30 Dec 06 :: 01:09

Yay!
That's great news. Here's hoping for some good pics!

#278 Re: Chris On Screen » Our tribute to Chris in Fanboys: The Fanboys Countdown » 28 Dec 06 :: 04:44

Can't we switch August and April next year?

Well, maybe they wouldn't notice, they both do begin with 'A'.

#279 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Look what day it is today! » 28 Dec 06 :: 04:41

Happy birthday Deb smile

Love the happy birthday pics

#280 Re: Chris On Screen » Our tribute to Chris in Fanboys: The Fanboys Countdown » 27 Dec 06 :: 06:17

No, we don't have that one yet. I like his sweet smile, but it would be nicer if he had his tongue inside his mouth.

Cute. Hey, I like tongue big_smile .

These are some really awesome pics. Bring on Fanboys. I'm hoping like hell we're looking at April not August. That's just ridiculous.

#281 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Season's Greetings! » 27 Dec 06 :: 06:10

Christmas turned out okay as far as Christmasses go. And I got some cool stuff, my parents are always pretty generous. Scored with some cds and dvds (including Girl Next Door big_smile ). I got s2 for christmas too, 'cept it hasn't arrived from Amazon yet, hopefully will within the next couple of days.

Yesterday was hell, but at least that day is over. sad
The only really good thing was seeing an add for Heroes coming soon! I've been hoping like hell it'd come here, seeing as Milo Ventimiglia is in it. big_smile

I used to be sad when christmas was over, nowadays I'm thankful for the return to normality.

#282 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Season's Greetings! » 22 Dec 06 :: 01:22

Hehe, yeah I was about to bring out the Roswell christmas eps tomorrow night. I think I'm watching Boy Meets World christmas eps tonight. smile

I know what you mean about the disintergrating christmas spirit. I blame age and over-commercialisation. It's hard to get Christmassy when Christmas decorations are fixtures since November. Of course maybe the fact that I'm not a Christian and, sadly, I don't believe in Santa, may contribute. Lol.

It's still one of the few times a year all my brothers & sisters are together so it's still special in that respect.

#283 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Season's Greetings! » 21 Dec 06 :: 01:06

Nice card. Merry Christmas everyone! smile
I've been enjoying my christmas vids lately, watched the Very Brady Christmas last night. Lol. Great to get you in the mood. big_smile

#284 Re: All About Chris » Escaping into dreamland » 18 Dec 06 :: 03:40

Don't remember what his Speedos looked like, though.

Pity. Sounds like a very cool dream though. I'm still waiting on a chris-dream. stupid subconscious.

#285 Re: Fan Fiction » The Christmas Saint (JoA) » 14 Dec 06 :: 08:03

Cool. I just read it. I like the way you nailed the characters.

I've been reading a little bit of fan fic lately seeing as I'm on holiday and have more free time, so I'll look foward to the next chapter. smile

#286 Re: Joan of Arcadia » 2x08 Friday Night » 12 Dec 06 :: 03:33

And how can you NOT melt, when he says, "You look so pretty, Jane." Kills me every single time.

And the scene at the end, when Joan is so mad at him for leaving the hospital and he just takes her anger, lets her rip, and ends up holding her and comforting her so sweetly.

How can you not love that?

Have to agree. There are some really cool moments in this ep for sure.

#287 Re: Chris On Screen » Just Friends » 10 Dec 06 :: 23:18

Apart from Chris' stuff I think I laughed once. I think it had something to do with a lamp. I didn't think anything else was funny (bar chris).

#288 Re: Chris On Screen » Rock with Barney » 10 Dec 06 :: 23:16

I really don't see the point of teletubbies. They're so stupid and they don't 'do' anything. Does anyone even like them? roll

#289 Re: All About Chris » Puppy Dog Eyes contest » 10 Dec 06 :: 23:11

Here's one I found from JoA 2x01 Only Connect that has definite puppy dog qualities

Yeah, it's not only his eyes there, look at his lips. Very nice.

#290 Re: Joan of Arcadia » 2x08 Friday Night » 10 Dec 06 :: 11:10

I loved the Grace/Luke stuff in Friday Night. That was cool.

I thought Adam was really cute in it, that restaurant stuff didn't bother me, just shows how outta place they, and any other 16/17 year olds, are in a fancy restaurant. Probably could've have better lines though.

I don't know if I've said this before but I don't like Judith. I just have this thing that she took screen time away from other characters I already know and love. And she's probably the type of person who just rubs me the wrong way. So maybe this just makes me more on Adam's side than usual but Adam leaving the hospital didn't seem so bad or whatever. Adam's a sensitive guy. The running out the hospital reminds me of s1 Adam, which just makes me more sympathetic with him.

There's some pretty good Adam stuff in it. The Friedman thing at the end was quite sad. Poor Friedman. "Judith's death" in itself didn't upset me, but the characters response to it was kinda teary.

#291 Re: Chris On Screen » Rock with Barney » 10 Dec 06 :: 01:54

Seems like that just wasn't meant to be then.

It still cracks me up though, what year was this? 'Cos I used to watch Barney, it was my fav show for my pre school + school years. I still remember the kids on it. So I would've seen him on it. Instead I see him much later on. Kind of interesting, like either way I would've seen him on Tv albeit in two very different ways.

#292 Re: All About Chris » Your Chrissues of the Day » 05 Dec 06 :: 03:07

That rocks. Just shows what you can achieve if you put in the effort. [ends cheesiness]

smile

#293 Re: Joan of Arcadia » JoA season two on DVD » 28 Nov 06 :: 09:54

Celebrate is replaced in Out Of Sight by some completely unrecognizable $5 pablum pop song that doesn't even exist in the real world of music.

How so very wrong

#294 Re: Joan of Arcadia » JoA season two on DVD » 26 Nov 06 :: 01:52

I now don't really expect anything much that has a lot of Chris in it.

Yeah, that's disappointing, but did you guys honestly expect juicy extras after s1's pathetic attempt, and then the treatment of Joan of Arcadia since?

To be honest I just wanted a box set of JoA in good quality. I'm kinda a geek about completing dvd sets of tv shows I love. wink

#295 Re: Joan of Arcadia » JoA season two on DVD » 25 Nov 06 :: 09:55

"Friday Night" with Stephen Nathan and James Hayman
"Common Thread" with Stephen Nathan and James Hayman

Woohooooo two commentaries without Barbara Hall. Okay, still James Hayman, but let's hope this Stephen Nathan guy is better at commentaries.

Yeah, I agree - complete wuss out on Trial & Error. Did they think people wouldn't consider this a landmark episode for the season, and therefore the one most worthwhile for a commentary?

'Course after s1 I never expected any decent extras.

Still looking forward to the table read. smile

#296 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 23 Nov 06 :: 06:02

I watched the trailer last night. This movie looks better than I was expecting. Can't wait.

#297 Re: Chris On Screen » Kyle Newman's Revenge of the Nerds (Remake) - CANCELED » 22 Nov 06 :: 09:43

Geez am I sad to hear that. sad

Hate to think of the great Chris scenes we'll never get to see...

If Chris has some time off, maybe he'll have time to come check us out. smile

#299 Re: Chris On Screen » Kyle Newman's Revenge of the Nerds (Remake) - CANCELED » 04 Nov 06 :: 05:32

Okay, I am officially back in "patiently waiting for movie" mode rather than "despairing over cancellation" mode.

#300 Re: Chris On Screen » ER And An Educated Guess... » 04 Nov 06 :: 05:24
