I'm not sure how much sense it makes to go into the show in season two without knowing season one. I've only seen season one so far, but I've heard people say that you really need to watch the beginning for season two to make sense.

Yeah, I saw the image, and it did look very Bomer-like. Maybe I'll give it a shot.

No idea if it's on Netflix, because we don't have Netflix over here in Germany. I hope it is, though. It's out on DVD and Blu-ray in Germany and the UK, so I hope it's made it to the US as well.

This is kinda random, but if you ever happen to stumble across the British reimagining of Sherlock Holmes (just titled Sherlock), please watch it. It's fantastic. It's the story of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson set in modern times. It's nothing like the recent theatrical movies, and it's witty, sharp and gripping. Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch are a wonderfully odd couple.
There's two seasons out there now, but each season only has three 90-minute episodes.

I just dug around a little, and it looks like both Alcatraz and Breaking In are likely to be cancelled. I was also surprised to see that Terra Nova has been cancelled. Nikita (my Outerbridge show) is also on the brink of being cancelled, and I'm pretty sure Ringer won't get renewed either. Guess I need to find myself some new shows this year. *sigh* Though, really, I must say I wasn't impressed with Breaking In's season debut. I haven't seen last night's episode yet, but somehow I found that the season premiere wasn't all that funny. At least Bomb Girls and White Collar will get another season.

I think they moved the date around a little bit. It was set to air earlier initially, so maybe the 11th was their initial plan.

You sure? My TV calendar says episode 1x02 airs on March 22, and then new episodes every Thursday night.

I watched the pilot of Touch last night, and I really liked it. Though what's with the two month break between episodes 1 and the rest? I was getting all excited about catching up on the stuff that had aired in the meantime, only to find out that the second episode isn't going to air for another two weeks. Hmpf. Next I'm gonna check out the pilot of Alcatraz.
EDIT: Hm, not too sure about Alcatraz. I'm not all that impressed with the pilot. I'll probably keep watching, though. And I will say that I had zero knowledge what the show was about (I mean other than about Alcatraz prison), and I didn't know who was gonna be in it. And then there's the first scene, and the voice-over, and I'm like, "Hey, that's Sam Neill's voice, right?" And it was. I'm such a geek.

There's going to be a mini Fanboys reunion on Being Human US next week when Jay Baruchel guest stars.

I loved Jason Behr in it. And it sounds like he might be back at some point. God, I miss seeing him on TV. Have you already heard anything about the ending of the episode? Cause if not, I'm not gonna spoil.
-TeeJay
Will watch it in a few minutes. Breakout Kings (with Brooke Nevin) also came back with season 2 on Sunday.

I just voted, even though YouTube is blocking the video in Germany because apparently it uses music that's protected by German GEMA rights.

I didn't get the appeal of Twitter for a long time either, but if you know how to use it right, it's a great tool to a) stay up to date with the latest news of your favorite TV shows/bands/actors and b) to even converse with them (granted, only in 140 character increments, which can be frustrating). I've gotten replies from a couple of actors/TV show writers there, and I even won a contest and my idea will now be featured in a Canadian radio drama episode where they said they'll credit me on air. \o/ Btw, Sam Huntington's tweets are hilarious. He's probably my favorite person on Twitter.

Is this someone we know? Because if not, then I'm glad I'm not the only one!!!

LOL! Awesome! Amber seriously rocks, and that girl has the wackiest sense of humor yet.
-TeeJay
This is kind of hilarious! Make sure to listen to Amber's "demos".

Happy Birthday, Jill Welch (mother of Michael)!
One of my friends told me she couldn't make it past the first ten minutes of Alcatraz. I'm not sure I wanna check it out... I also heard there's a new show with Kiefer Sutherland coming up? I'm kinda out of touch with the mid-season shows coming up. I've kinda been sucked into Bomb Girls, a six-episode Canadian show that is all kinds of wonderful. I've written weekly reviews for it, and today it just so happened that one of the show's creators contacted me, commending my reviews and insights. I was all.... whoa! That totally made my day!
Great news!
I actually kinda liked it. Like Deb said, it's not great, but I felt entertained enough to want to keep following the story. The ending was indeed probably the best thing about it. It's certainly more than watchable and I think I would have enjoyed seeing it on the big screen as well.
Screencaps from The Double have been added today: http://www.chris-marquette.com/gallery/ … ?album=250
Vidcap as well (though I think I need to redo this cause a) the picture quality is weird and b) the sound is slightly out of sync -- bear with me): http://www.chris-marquette.com/media/vi … Double.wmv

And now.... the hi-res screencaps: http://www.chris-marquette.com/gallery/ … ?album=250
Enjoy! Vidcaps are in the works. Oh, and there's a couple of Mr. Pointies. Deb, maybe you can go and post them in that thread later.

Anne, I've got "bad" news for you. Moyer and Chris don't have any scenes together. Moyer is also only in the first 20 or so minutes. And he's got an ugly scar right across his face.
Happy belated Birthday from me too!
Just bought tickets for a theatre play with Cate Blanchett. She's gonna be here in June at the Ruhrfestspiele in Germany. Hope it's gonna be good!
