I ordered the Shirt and the apron from an American ebay seller (Yes, that's right. It's Original HBO stuff!!!), bought a black short pants at my favorite clothing store here and added my old jogging shoes. Sookie is ready for RingCon! smile

I haven't seen last night's episode yet (working on that, though), but I just wanted to introduce Merlotte's newest waitress to you:

And as soon as she kicks the bucket her CDs are sold like crazy.

I posted my birthday wishes to Mike on his Facebook page. I guess he won't read them here but anyway: Happy Birthday (again)!

Amy Winehouse is dead. At 27. Somehow I knew she would be this decade's Janis Joplin.

#382 Re: Square Eyes » Amber Tamblyn » 23 Jul 11 :: 23:54

God, this is only coming out NOW? Wow. I feel like I have seen this movie, like, ages ago. But of course it's great that it's finally being released in the US.

I went to my local job center/employment agency again today. I definitely need a new direction for my life jobwise since I really hate being stuck where I am now. I do have an idea so far, but the job market in Germany sucks a$$, so I don't know if it'll work out.

#387 Re: Off Topic Stuff » I hate people that claim they like the heat » 20 Jul 11 :: 21:39

I would like to move to New Zealand. Or Ireland.

Just don't choose Germany if you want to live in Europe. Germany sucks.

Hey guys, in case you have noticed I was gone for a few days, I'm back now. Had kind of a private crisis and decided to limit my online time to Facebook for a while.

How did I miss that Ciáran Hinds was in Harry Potter 7.2? I knew I recognized the actor who played Aberforth from somewhere, but with the beard and make-up I just couldn't place him. When the credits rolled, I had my duh moment...

Same here, Tina, same here! LOL
I also had some kind of WTF moment when I realized Fiona Shaw (from True Blood) was Aunt Petunia all the time ... I was like "WTF, Aunt Petunia moved to Bon Temps and is fighting Vampires now?" LOL

#390 Re: Square Eyes » Amber Tamblyn » 16 Jul 11 :: 23:04

Amber was in London a few days ago!!! I so wanted to be there! She probably wouldn't have remembered me from '08 but I could have shown her our pictures! Well, if I had managed to meet her again at all. LOL

#391 Re: Square Eyes » 2011 Emmy Nominees » 16 Jul 11 :: 23:01

I was kinda pissed because Stephen Moyer didn't even get a nomination for TB. He deserves it. I don't really care about the rest.

No, there was one. I don't recall the exact episode and I can't even remember the complete song title but it was something with postcards and chimpanzees (spelling?). It's on my mp3 player but I am too lazy to look at it right now. LOL

Yeah, looks like that.

Okay, this is by far the weirdest dream I have ever heard about. I don't even know what to say about it. LOL

#395 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Book Thread » 10 Jul 11 :: 10:14

I'm reading Kill Your Friends now ... and WOW, all I can say is: Yes, it is a hooligan of a book, just like it says on the back of my copy. LOL
And I'm totally failing my book project, half the year is over and I am at least six books behind ... I need to read faster! yikes

#396 Re: Square Eyes » All Things Michael Welch » 09 Jul 11 :: 10:13

Wow ... looks like pretty heavy stuff. Not sure if I want to see Mike like that.

#397 Re: All About Chris » A Note From Chris! » 09 Jul 11 :: 10:03

It's so great to "read" from him again. smile

#398 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 06 Jul 11 :: 22:39

Speaking of jobs, I got a job interview next week, please cross your fingers, it would be so awesome if this one actually worked out.

#400 Re: All About Chris » Chris Sountrack » 01 Jul 11 :: 18:51

I have a bunch of songs I relate to Adam, but most of them are from a specific band whose name I shall not post on this board.
I once had a whole playlist of the songs but since my computer got that nasty virus I can't reach it at the moment. :crying:
