I could never watch Amber like that! Watching her giving birth in Stephanie Daley was hard enough ...
But speaking of new roles for Amber, who else can totally see her as Lois Lane in the new Superman movie? I totally CAN!!!

The region is not the problem, I've got a codefree DVD player. I'll check cd-wow, that's where I buy most of my American DVDs.
EDIT: I checked amazon and it's even out on DVD in Germany. And it's not that expensive. I am seriously tempted now. Will put it on my To buy List.

Wow, Simon, that's horrible! I really hope you'll get your money back somehow.
In other news yesterday I learned that one of my former teachers died in a horrible car crash a few days ago ... I haven't seen him in years, but it's still shocking since he was one of the good ones and not that old yet. My thoughts are with his family right now.

I am currently thinking about joining this internet DVD club ... it's like the online version of a rental store, just that you don't go there in person and pick the copy up. They send it to you instead and you can keep it as long as you want and send it back when you got tired of the movie.

Its ok Anne, I know that not all of south Germany is Bavaria....if it makes you feel any better I actually thought Bavaria was smaller that what it really is before I got to Germany.
That's why I said "most"!
But hey, I even told Chris that back in 2008. LOL I brought some sweets for him from my area (which is called Schwaben, or Swabia for the English-speaking people) and told him precisely that Swabia is not a part of Bavaria and he promised he'll always remember that.

Yeah, late is better than never. I still haven't even got my presents! Well, except for one. My friend's parents got me this English Power dictionary. It says it includes 80,000 words, but the one time I need to look up a word, that one isn't included. LOL

Congrats, Mel. Like I said in the other thread, the posters already have arrived in my theatre, but the owner said it's not that likely that they're going to show The Rite, but I have high hopes for 127 hours. It just sucks that I have to see it after the Oscar show.

Actually, what I'm afraid of is that they have cut his part back so far (again) that he's pissed off at the director (again). That's really sad considering how excited he was when he signed on.
Oh yeah, that would be sad indeed. And it would SUCK big time!!! I don't know what's wrong with those directors that cut his parts back so far. Maybe they need better glasses.

Can you believe that I am looking at new dresses AGAIN? But I'm so psyched for my brother's wedding this year, I decided I want to look good there. So I'm buying another dress. Soon. Hopefully. Can't wait!
