#7504 Re: Chris On Screen » My Tutor (remake) - CANCELED » 15 Aug 06 :: 13:55

I was longing to see this on my own Computer Screen after you sent me that SMS. It just sounded so weird. LOL

But hey, I don't mind if he likes to be behind the camera ... as long as he stays in front of it as well. wink

#7505 Re: Chris On Screen » Strong Medicine » 15 Aug 06 :: 13:48

Hey Tina, when can I visit you again after you returned from Atlanta? wink

#7507 Re: Chris On Screen » Miscellaneous Stuff » 15 Aug 06 :: 13:41

I catched some part of the movie once on TV, but it was - of course - in German so I did not really pay attention to this, I just realized that it was a movie with (a younger) Chris.

#7508 Re: Chris On Screen » Thru The Moebius Strip » 15 Aug 06 :: 13:38

You know how much I wanna hear Chris as Jac ... I once drove my friend Nathalie crazy because I loved so much how he says: "He's missing Mom, that means he can be found." LOL
Well, we can hope for a release but I think this will stay withful thinking.

#7509 Re: Chris On Screen » The Education Of Charlie Banks » 15 Aug 06 :: 13:36

Oops. Stupid old keyboard. LOL
So you are going to see it and I have to sit at home and long for it. I should get used to this. LOL
Hey, you have to tell me everything about this episode when you're back, ok? wink

And now imagine getting on a tram or train, minding your own business, grumpy as usual because you're on the way to work, you mutter, "Is this seat still vacant?" without paying attention. You sit down and bury your head in your book. And then, just by chance, you look up and sitting opposite you is..... CHRIS! OMG, I think I'd drop my book and turn tomato red. LOL

LOL, me too!

TeeJay wrote:

Yeah, well, it's cool that he takes the train. Regular dude, just like we always said. He'll probably stop doing that when every second person asks him, "Oh, uhm, you're Chris Marquette, aren't you?" So, three big cheers for regular-dude Chris. Man, I wanna know if the towel made its way to its intended destination!

Ok, ok, I got it. I have to work on the regular-dude thing. wink

And TeeJay, they didn't necessarily have him on blocks because he's so terrbliy short (5'7" or 8" is not that short).  They said it was to bring him into the shot.  It probably just had something to do with the way they had to frame it in-camera in such a tiny room.  I've seen this done, and the guy was not short at all.  It was just a perspective problem.

Yeah, see? I know nothing about shooting movies. smile I still think it'll look gigantically stupid to have two-inch blocks under your feet. LOL

Me neither. And I think so too.

I was really into riding as a teen, so no surprise there. I still love horses and riding, I just don't have the time anymore. And it's quite an expensive sport. And only half as much fun if you can't ride a horse whenever you want to and have to go to some riding stable to take lessons. But it's great that you're gonna be on the show, Sean! Let us know when the episode is gonna air, I'll download it.

Same here. Hey, maybe the show will be here on TV too, and maybe I'll catch a few episodes.
Hey Sean, are you planning to become an actor now? wink

Anne, they're talking about a commuter train around town, not a long distance train like AmTrak.  He would take the train instead of a car, not instead of a plane.

I thought they were talking about a long distance train because the person posted something called "amtrak". You see, my English is not that good, so I misunderstood that.
Besides, I don't care how he travels, I just want him to have a safe trip. wink

The scenes shot the day before are set in Charlie's dorm room, where he finds Mick. Jesse Eisenberg, who was the older boy in the film "The Squid and the Whale," is Charlie; Jason Ritter, son of the late actor John Ritter, is Mick, and Chris Marquette, seated on a chair with 2-inch-tall blocks under each leg to better bring him into the scene, is Charlie's longtime best friend and college roommate. (Ed: EXCUSE ME??? He's not *that* short, is he?)

Huuuuuh??? HELLO??? Are they kidding?
But at least it sounds like a bigger part as I expected, which is really great actually. wink

#7517 Re: Chris On Screen » Just Friends » 28 Jul 06 :: 19:22

Oh God. You can't ignore that it's a TEEN Choice Award, huh? LOL

#7518 Re: Joan of Arcadia » 2x02 Out Of Sight » 28 Jul 06 :: 16:15

Oh yeah, now I remember! It made me laugh a little actually. The look on her face, not the craziness. wink

#7519 Re: Joan of Arcadia » 2x02 Out Of Sight » 28 Jul 06 :: 09:39

I actually had similar thought about Sammy's wife. I wonder why they put her in the show.

#7520 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 28 Jul 06 :: 09:37

Welcome Sean! big_smile

A trailer? Wow, this is soooo cool! I hope we'll get to see it soon!

#7521 Re: Chris On Screen » Calvin Marshall - CHRIS IS NO LONGER INVOLVED » 27 Jul 06 :: 18:26

I wasn't asking for pictures. And sorry, but I don't know anything about producing a movie. I didn't know that directors don't know the release dates of their movies.

#7522 Re: Chris On Screen » The Education Of Charlie Banks » 27 Jul 06 :: 18:24

I am not a non-car-obsessed European! I like driving my mom's car! I just can`t afford an own car! Hey, maybe he took the train because it's more     environment-friendly than a plane! wink Or maybe he couldn't get a flight ticket anymore. We don't know.

#7523 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 27 Jul 06 :: 15:04

I think I saw this link some time ago.

#7524 Re: Chris On Screen » The Education Of Charlie Banks » 27 Jul 06 :: 15:02

You saw it the other week and posted it on the old board, but I saw this already months ago, but I forgot to tell you.
And don't pick on me because of the regular dude thing! I took the train myself for almost four years and he is still NOT a regular dude for me. Can't change this, sorry. It annoys me too.

#7525 Re: Chris On Screen » Calvin Marshall - CHRIS IS NO LONGER INVOLVED » 27 Jul 06 :: 15:00

I`d love to write but I have neither any idea what to write nor do I speak perfect English, so I think one of you guys should write him. Do you think we could ask for a release date?
