I watched Amber's Two and a half men episode. It was pretty good. First time I could through an episode of that show without cringing or face palming. big_smile who knew it would make that shitty show better to have Amber act like Charlie Sheen?! big_smile she was so completely different from anything I've ever seen her in before. maybe it was closest to Tibby. if Tibby decided to get cocky and start acting like Charlie Harper.

Nice to "meet" you, Graham. I'd be interested to read your input on this story and other things. I like the way you write. I'm sure if I read how you describe growing up where you did, it would be totally alien for me as I've grown up on the other side of the World. I'm checking out your blog too.

#105 Re: Chris On Screen » Kilimanjaro » 09 Sep 13 :: 19:13

I love those pics. LOVE the FUZZ! big_smile

it's hard to find news and stuff for this film festival mentioning Kilimanjaro. I only found this one and it doesn't even mention Chris.

"Kilimanjaro"
Synopsis: An aimless young man decides to climb Mount Kilimanjaro after his girlfriend leaves him.
What You Need To Know: The excellent Brian Geraghty didn't quite get the boost off "The Hurt Locker" that his co-stars Jeremy Renner and Anthony Mackie did. He's popped up here and there ("Flight," the terrible "ATM,"), but either hasn't been taking, or hasn't been offered, the same big-money roles as his two former colleagues. But things are looking up: Geraghty just joined the cast of "Boardwalk Empire," and the next week sees him headlining a promising-sounding indie at SXSW. While it could be seen as not a world away from its competition, the title and premise at least suggest some ambition beyond another movie about an aimless slacker. And the cast that first-time writer and director Walter Strafford has assembled is a good one, with Geraghty joined by Alexia Rasmussen ("Tanner Hall"), Abigail Spencer ("Mad Men"), Bruce Altman, Jim Gaffigan and Diego Klattenhoff ("Homeland"). Hopefully the film is the showcase that Geraghty's been deserving of for the last few years.
When? Saturday March 9th at the Stateside, then Sunday March 10th at the Alamo Slaughter, and Tuesday 12th at the Alamo Ritz.

I've been stressing about my thesis and last internship so much, I get frozen when I actually try to do the thesis. I'm so screwed! I have a clear idea of what I want it to be but I just can't get it down on paper. I just pace out and can't even breathe. Then I just feel like I need a hug and someone telling me it's going to be fine and there's no sense to stress about it. I get this online from friends but I really need one live. but noup. facebook has made it possible for all these socially awkward finns to have their social life online. I don't think any of them could even give a hug anymore. just a thumb up and *hug* now I see how annoying that is. I just want to go around giving my friends real hugs now.

The director's webpage for the movie

Right now there's a statement on how the shooting took place and how the movie is now ready. So I guess they're looking for a distributor now? There's also pics from set but they're mostly of the scenery, locations and director. I think I saw Chris' sideprofile on one of those pics but I'm not sure. I'm sure in the future they'll add some stills from the movie and videos. there are two youtube videos now but they don't work for me.

Kristen Bell did this interview for Collider during the press day of her recent movie Lifeguard. She found out she was pregnant on set. she first thought she had mono. lol. who is she dating anyways? I forgot.

I watched that but only once. maybe I should have a rewatch big_smile I did like it and Sean William Scott is my guilty pleasure. tongue I just love him in Bulletproof monk and Welcome to the Jungle. big_smile

I kinda sympathize with actors doing writing and directing. that's a big step for them and it must be hard to gain the respect of other movie makers. Aaron is my favorite in this but Jay is closing in on 2nd place. the series sounds like bromance sit-com. gotta love a good bromance! big_smile

I loved Orange is the new black. Laura Prepon was great in it and I just loved Samira Wiley. Crazy eyes scared me a bit. heh.

I can totally hear him say "hey buddyyyy!" to a friend but I can't picture him with that name. What is Buddy short for anyways?

I thought it was common knowledge that he was gay, but he sure did pick a good cause to stand up for.  smile

#123 Re: Chris On Screen » American Gun » 04 Aug 13 :: 09:56

I only watched this one once. it was kind of a heavy movie and I generally avoid movies about this subject. gun violence shocks me a lot and I have strange reactions to it. but I know I really should watch it again.

#124 Re: Chris On Screen » Infestation (SPOILERS FOR THE MOVIE BEGIN ON PAGE 15) » 04 Aug 13 :: 09:53

I love this movie. I've got a DVD and a back up DVD. big_smile I got one of them as present from a lovely friend in the UK who knew I love the dude, wanted the film and didn't know if I could find it in my country. she sent it to me just weeks after I had ordered it from play.com but it's good to have two. heh
