I love the hat! big_smile And I think some facefuzz would have looked good with it. :drool:
Honestly, there's something about the shape of his head that makes me feel like the fuzz should be on 24/7... *whistle*
OK, almost 3am already. I have nothing bright to say so maybe I should shut up...

#1252 Re: Chris On Screen » Infestation (SPOILERS FOR THE MOVIE BEGIN ON PAGE 15) » 07 Feb 09 :: 01:43

Wow, looks really good. And as addition to the creepy-factor, I had an ant running on this table while watching the trailer. lol Now I itch everywhere, feeling like there's ants running in me; just like every time I see one. :doh::lol: I wonder what kind of dreams I'll be watching tonight.. It's 2am already, I should head to bed...

#1253 Re: Joan of Arcadia » Random JoA Stuff... » 03 Feb 09 :: 10:10

I just saw episode 2:12 of How I Met Your Mother. There was this girl Molly that Ted lost his virginity to. There was something familliar about Molly. Took about two seconds to realize it was the chick that played Iris. She grew up kinda pretty, had a little bit less annoying voice, but was still recognizeable. Molly was such a biach I had giggles thinking I'll bet Iris would have been about the same. lol

By the way... having another JOA marthon on Youtube.. big_smile I'm in the end of the first season already... :doh:

I might as well join the troops labelled "patients"... My stomatch has been acting up again. And yesterday there was a note on the mail that I'll be having my Gastroscopia on the 18th... Well, atleast I'm getting some answers! big_smile

Too much minus degrees around here. I'm freazing. Sticking inside. big_smile

Yesterday this song started to play in my head and it got really annoying really fast when it didn't go away... It was "naa, I'm a windowshopper" and it started playing after one salesperson left our house... one that was selling windows... lol

It's OK. No hurry. Now I feel all un-grateful... :embarrassed: Let me know if there's something cool I can get to you. big_smile I love giving. smile

I just saw 13 goin oon 30 again; and just because I wanted to see Sean acting. big_smile I first saw the movie about a year ago and I didn't knew much about the brothers Marquette back then. But I do remember thinking that kid was good. big_smile And he really was. I might actually say it was the best performance in the whole movie. It was a real feel good-movie. Loved it. A bit contrast to "The Daze" which is the only other Sean-flick I've seen. lol I better try find some DVD's...

#1259 Re: Square Eyes » In Praise of Chris's Colleagues » 01 Feb 09 :: 00:42

Cool about the package, Anne!

I'd love to read the Bust magazine! Amber's pics look good and tasteful. The little I've seen the article (on pictures) it seems great.

Giggled at the funny Timberlake pics. lol

Anna Fars is 32 ?! But she looks like 20 in most of her movies! yikes And so cool that she's with Chris Pratt. Everwood's Bright Abbott. I had a little black out there, the name sounded familliar, I just couldn't place it. Until I saw his picture. He has grown into a hunk... Lucky Anna! big_smile

Guess Goldilocks scared the living crap out of those three bears

:rofl:

Funny pics..

Oh, Anne. I hope you'll get better soon.. Stop worrying about your boss. This is a great chance to lay back a while, get lazy. Pamper yourself. I'll bet it helps to forget the pain a little..

#1261 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 28 Jan 09 :: 15:07

Sorry about your hearing, Deb. I've got a friend that has been deaf on his left ear all his life. He can hear something with it when he has a hearing-aid, but still it's best to stay on his right side everytime I meat him...

Ok. my youngest just went for a nap, and the other kids are watching Brother bear. I think I'll take a shower now and take the midkid with me so he can take a bath... Then some dinner and grocery shopping and have to see if I've got what it takes to have another evening walk.. I hope my belly won't argue with me again once I eat the dinner.. I'm feeling amazingly painless and healthy today. big_smile

#1262 Re: Square Eyes » Into The Wild » 26 Jan 09 :: 15:06

Huh. Had to look through five pages before I found this thread. I was just about to give up and make a new one..

I just saw this movie this morning. I've had it for about a week or two, not quite feeling like watching something that sounded a bit dark. This morning I felt as if I wanna see some movie and this one was yet to be seen so; on it went. And I loved it. Even if it was very long. I think it would have sucked if they'd tried to make it shorter. But the sceenery was awesome; both the nature and mancandy! wink:drool: I haven't had any crushes on Emile before. Now I have to say he looked very good -in the face anyway; of course I'm not a fan of selfstarvation. And did very good! Wow, amazing job! I'm amazed if he didn't get any awards for this.

*SPOILERS*

As what comes to Christopher McCanddless' story; I got interested to find out more. So I went to the official site at http://www.intothewild.com/ (where, by the way, you can watch a clip of Kristen Steward singing) and there was some more info. The author had written down a little something too and linked an article that he wrote in the 90's: http://outside.away.com/outside/feature … ild_1.html. Got to know some more about this Chris. Sounds like an amazing guy and many people must be missing him crazy.

#1263 Re: Chris On Screen » Race To Witch Mountain » 26 Jan 09 :: 08:33

The Rock ain't that bad. big_smile I like him, some of his movies are great. I'm not into ridicilously huge moucsles but he does do a good action movie. smile I especially loved The Rundown. wink Christopher Walken's in it. And Sean Willim Scott looking all hunky... :drool: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0327850/

#1266 Re: Square Eyes » Star Trek (2008 movie) » 23 Jan 09 :: 11:14

Oh, forgot I meant to ask.. Has anyone here seen Star Wreck? lol It's this hilarious low-budget movie (parody) made by some finnish people. You can watch it at http://www.starwreck.com/ (check the download-section). I just remembered it. I saw it over a year ago, thinking of taking another look.. Atleast watch the trailer, you're gonna laugh real hard and it look amazingly good. So all the talking is in finnish but there's english subtitles. Trust me, it's still better than hearing some finns talking english. Now that's embarrasing!

EDIT:
I'm now watching it again. Just as good as I remembered. Watch how Finns take over the world! Well, there's some russian people involved! And the three aliens. lol The guy that plays Russian president is actually one of Finland's most successful actors. He's not at his best here.. There's a lot of finish cursing but not all of it is translated..
Around 0:54 you will see how finns party... maybe you'll understand why I don't like to go out much! lol

One last EDIT: I was just exploring the website. I imagine Illinois might have fun checking out the making of- parts. wink Check the faq.. And watching the timeline stuff made me realize you might have heard about it already. Seems that the movie is much more bigger all around the world than I thought it is. big_smile

#1267 Re: Square Eyes » Star Trek (2008 movie) » 23 Jan 09 :: 11:04

I've now seen some episodes of the newer Star Trek series. I saw them while visiting hub's mom and they've got a finnish scifi channel. And hub's mom is into the series! As well as some other scifi series. :lol:I guess it was inevitable; I mean having all her four kids turned out as scifi-fans. big_smile Plus one daughter in (common) law.. *whistles*

I loved the episodes I saw. Have to check hub's brother's DVD shelves in case he has something I can borrow. big_smile I just might turn into a trekkie after all. Waiting for the movie too. But not as much as Fanboys! big_smile

#1268 Re: Fan Fiction » In It For The Money - a Graduation fan fiction story » 23 Jan 09 :: 10:49

Wow! Awesome! Great job, Tina. Was is it a one shot or is there gonna be more? I love your style of writing here. smile The picture is great too.

#1269 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 23 Jan 09 :: 10:31

Talking of Twilight and birthdays. I could have seen it on mine! It was playing 16.-22. on our theater. Of course it was advertised on their webpage only on those two weeks when I gave up checking so often.. And found out about the movie just as the last showing yesterday had ended. I hope they give it another week. And this all reminds me that I should read the papers more...We've got three free local papers that I never read...

Sorry your luck wasn't any better, Anne. *hugsie*

Simon, sorry you're so depressed. I feel a lot of that too.. Depression annoyes me like nothing else. When it gets really bad it feels like it's draining me of all my streght and feeling so weak and useless IS annoying and makes me hate myself.. So sick and tired of always being sick and tired..

#1270 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Birthday Thread » 22 Jan 09 :: 15:43

Happy birthday, Anne! big_smile

I didn't get any presents either, but I wasn't really expecting any. Now my friend says she's gonna take me out for chinese tomorrow! Yay! :drool: And JTT is gonna buy me a new winter jacket tomorrow. He's sick of me using one of his.. roll

#1273 Re: Square Eyes » Lets post some mini-reviews and recommendations! :D » 21 Jan 09 :: 07:10

I saw "You've got mail" again last last night.Came from the TV a while ago and recorded it just to see if I'd still like it. I was certain I'd get bored in the middle of it, because it's so long and I've seen it a couple of times before. But it really was good. One of he best Meg Ryan-flicks. Love the Ryan-Hanks-chemistry. And I love bookstores and cafes; so really my kind of movie. big_smile And this coming from a woman that concidered Sleepless in Seattle her favorite movie from teen to early twenties. And I still think it's very good. I don't think I can quite decide which movie is my absolute favorite these days. I like so many different ones. big_smile

#1274 Re: Square Eyes » Post your recent DVD purchases » 21 Jan 09 :: 06:57

I like the Secret life of an American teenager. Checked in online somewhere last fall. I think you guys would love it. It had a bit of that same vibe that JOA had... I think so anyway.. A nice familyshow that gives a warm feeling of something familliar and still manages to suprise a bit in every episode. I could use that DVD too. big_smile

#1275 Re: Square Eyes » Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies) » 20 Jan 09 :: 12:19

I did just like Tina. I heard that Mike's in it (thanks to this board) and decided to read the books before the movie came out. I got totally hooked. And I loved Mike in it. I just pictured Mike Newton to look more like MW looks in that picture that TJ sent me. I thought Mike Newton in the movie looked like some kind of addict but that might be just because I watched the "alien-green torrent"-version of it. Can't wait to see the real thing.:D
