I've been tripping since the tuesday of last week and seems I'll be home just around the 2 week mark. so far my trip has been from Home (Tornio) to Oulu (2,5 hour bus ride) to visit my bestie S and her little fam for two days which is where I threw my back walking around town with my hefty bags. Then I took a 6 hour train trip to Tampere which is about 800km from home. loooong and boring trip. couldn't even take my laptop out so I just rested my eyes. then my mom and sis came to pick me up and we drove an hour to my mom's tiny town. I spent two nights there and one visiting my big sis and niece 10km away. then I went back to Tampere to visit another friend (E and her two kids). That was only supposed to last two days until I got my kids but I ended up staying there 2 days with the kids too. then we got back to my big sis's place. we were supposed to go to my other sister's home but first night was inconvenient and then yesterday they had a belly bug so we stayed here for another night. now my younger big sis will come pick us up right after she's done with her stables. we'll spend the rest of the trip there or I might go to mom's for one night if the kids are ok to stay alone with my sis. the giant music festival of that tiny town is going to start on saturday and end on monday. we originally planned to go home on monday but might be able to push that to tuesday. it's going to be so weird going home since the kids have to go to J right away.

so far the trip has been just great despite of the weather and my back. I would have never believed I could have fun visiting family and friends. that oughta tell you something about my past trips.. lol

I'm actually road tripping right now. Sometimes, the journey really isn't as much fun as the destination. and the bar was actually pretty low considering I traveled 800 km to visit family members for two weeks. surprisingly, so far meeting the family has been a pleasant thing despite my alcoholic mother having her drink on. the road tripping was a pain in the back. seriously, I threw my back carrying the bags. uh..  it was so awesome to meet my friend for a couple of days. her baby was so cute!  big_smile

seems they filed for divorce on valentines day after being separated for a long time.

#137 Re: Square Eyes » All Things Michael Welch » 24 Jun 13 :: 01:15

what the...? was Mike married? I was just on his IMDB page and it actually says

Spouse
Marissa Lefton     (2008 - present) (filed for divorce)

how did I not know about this? big_smile

Fred Koehler (the bully Joan went to a dance with) was also in NCIS Double blinded. his character was this heartbreaking lonely dude. He should have worn a "I need a hug"-T-shirt! big_smile

That looks very interesting. I wish I could see it. I saw the trailer like ages ago and wanted to see it ever since. big_smile

#140 Re: All About Chris » Escaping into dreamland » 16 Jun 13 :: 09:25

I had a double Marquette dream! big_smile the world was kinda messed up. then Sean came to me asking for my help to get Chris back. He had been taken to some underground compound as a prisoner. We went in trying to break him out. We found him, we had a plan, we failed miserably. That part was like comedic bit on clumsy people. we were caught, but we managed to get away. then we had to try another tactic and we went under cover as people who were living in the compound. they were like a terrorist group. Like good people on a good cause but coming up terrorists. Gun crazies and all that crap. Then we were in some big dining hall  trying to look like we belonged there. We were surprised to see Chris was there eating with the other people like he belonged there. people were scared of him. he was some kind of badass. He was still prisoner, there were guards looking at him, but for some reason Sean wanted to go sit with him anyways. I was scared out of my mind and became very clumsy. I noticed non of us had anything to drink, so I went to get us some. there were many drink choices and the glasses were of different shapes and sizes. it was hard to fit three of them into my hands. of course I dropped some and pulled some attention. I freaked even more and closed my eyes hoping to be invisible. I heard some noise around me like people were starting to fight. I cursed myself to the lowest part of hell for messing stuff up... then I felt a strong comforting hand on my shoulder and Chris' voice saying "come with me if you want to live".

lol just had to write that down before I forgot. I love my movie dreams but they're way more fun to see in a viewer's perspective.when ever I'm in the story, my heart races and then at some point the dream ends too soon because my adrenaline shakes me out of REM sleep. then it's another dream or nothingness.

interesting looking series. some are so tired as ideas. not sure which ones will work but I'll be sure to check some of them out if I can. big_smile

#144 Re: Chris On Screen » The Napkin (a short film by Aaron Himelstein) » 25 May 13 :: 11:23

hehe. great caps big_smile I liked the movie on its own, but it was a little disappointing how little screen time Chris had and his character really was an a-hole, but  it was a great job for a supporting actor anyways big_smile

#145 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 25 May 13 :: 11:10

I loved that smile the daddy-news too. so happy for them! big_smile also, I wonder what the pregnancy means for Jaime's character in Hart of Dixie.

#146 Re: Square Eyes » In Praise of Chris's Colleagues » 23 Mar 13 :: 01:55

Ryan Reynolds can't get enough of playing Deadpool
There's a stand--alone Deadpool movie in the works but it will be years before it will get out and it will be pretty heavily rated so it's likely not to get a big audience and they're just getting ready for a flop. But Ryan wants to be in another Wolverine movie as Deadpool so he can just take a piss on everybody and be a bad boy. big_smile

I love love LOVE that the face fuzz is back! big_smile

#148 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 08 Mar 13 :: 17:30

sucks to be sick. rest up and get better soon. *hugs* it's easy. just picture the hottest nurse you could possible imagine wink ok, maybe it will work, but at least it will make  your drowsy daydreams more exciting.

I've had this taunting "is it or isn't it"-kinda flu lurking around me for three weeks. drives me nuts to constantly have a stuffed nose, sore throat and glands, and a headache that comes bad some days, but other wise I feel almost normal. I'd be so pumped to get back to gym but don't dare to workout with this.

I'm finally watching Green guys. looks good. Kris Lemche is a cutie! big_smile

#150 Re: Square Eyes » In Praise of Chris's Colleagues » 03 Mar 13 :: 21:31

I don't find it funny either. I guess I'm kinda watching it as a drama with dark humor. I didn't even think it was supposed to be funny after watching the first 30 minutes and then realizing they were 60 minute episodes and not getting any funnier, so probably not a sitcom as was my first assumption.
