Hiya Deb! Whoa, there was 7 of us online and now there's 3 folks! That's what I get for going on the JOA section and :silly:  over the pics again. I saved a bunch thanks to the screencaps you ladies have on the site, but it's a lot better once you see it all together, posted after one another... extra lovelyness.
I think we should bump this thread and talk more about our favorite scenes!
I also like the ending scene in "Romancing the Joan"- the pictures around the mirror and them kissing slowly, making it look like a part of the still images on the art work.. sheer perfection!

:crying:
Ah! The two just breaks my heart- good and bad ;D
Too bad they didn't make it on this list: http://www.ew.com/ew/gallery/0,,20178000,00.html
They're my #1 <3
My favorite images:
The Rovester, haha.
Just yumminess, obviously.
Oooh, the hair.
This gets to me everytime.
I hope it does come out during summer; talk about bug season in general. Yikes!
Maybe the girl is partial to dramatic roles, so she hasn't seen the comedies or other works Chris has been in? I know a girl who actually favors comedies over other genres so she thinks Chris is in similar roles as well (just based on "JF" and "GND"-- I know, I know!). I told her to watch "The Tic Code" and "American Gun," though. I don't think she's going to do that, but hopefully she'll stumble upon the films and think of me and pick it up.
In regards to Chris' dramatic roles being almost "the same," I highly disagree. I can't really see Pete being similar to any other [dramatic] roles I've seen Chris do.. hmmm.. Miles? Definitely not. Adam Rove? Heck no. Linderman? Not even. David? NO. Keith? Maybe.. they both were a tad goofy in a sense but then had their bad moments.
Simply put, the thing about Pete was that, he wasn't really likable like his other characters-- In my opinion, of course.
Ooo, I like the tagline; very catchy.
Hahaha, I wouldn't have guessed and it's okay, the statement itself is ironic ;D
Have any of you seen Julie Walters, Rupert Grint and Laura Linney in "Driving Lessons"? The pics remind me so much of the scenery where Evie and Ben (Julie Walters and Rupert Grint) went to the lake and she says one of the greatest quotes ever: "Life is confusing. Just when we think it's all over, it throws a view like this [the lake] at us and we don't know where we are." Very beautiful.
I actually didn't mind the "distracting" background of this version. This one is actually brighter amongst the rest on my computer, which was why I preferred it. Not like it matters now or anything, but any pics of Chris is fine by me, I say ;D
I especially love the second picture; the tranquility is almost deafening.
Hey, I notice the new selection of pics for the MessageBoard banner on top of the page- Awesome choices ![]()
Yeah, I bet the posters will look like that- or mini Chris to the side or half of his head on the bottom paper.. ;/
You have a Sirius Black poster, TeeJay? Yummy!
I cried multiple times during the movie. I even still cried in the car on the way home when I reflected on some things. It's rare that a movie gets into my psyche this much. And I believe it's gonna stay with me for a while.
Aw, that makes me want to watch it even more. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Have you tried half.com? That's where I get my school textbooks pretty cheap and there's a neat DVD section as well! And you don't have to wait and compete with other buyers.
I would have gotten the movies separately, but I knew there was going to be a "circle of trust" collection thing, so I waited and waited and then waited for the price to come down and I finally got it. As I keep saying, as much as I may like something/someone, I am still a cheap butt.
I'm still waiting to get Saw IV.. I haven't seen the movie in general so I'm anticipating for the price to go down already.
That's cool, Melody; I actually like Fockers more ;x The baby did it for me! "Ass-holeeeeeeeeee" HAHAHAHAH!! And I actually haven't seen the movies you listed, except for Rumor Has It and Blades of Glory- Blades of Glory wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, I must say.
Wow, that's really cool, TeeJay. I always thought it was just bands/musicians that would do that ![]()
Hmm, I wish I were shy rather than saying stupid stuff I'll later regret.. but then I'd regret not saying what I want to say, I bet. I always lose.
Oh, Joel McHale is just plain awesome.
Thanks for posting the articles; they were beautifully written.
Hahaha, the ones where Jenna tackles him down after the whole "turning 30" experience is quite awesome.
I figured Paul Dano to be in a band; he has that look. Wow, that was kind of bad. Anyway, an acquaintance of mines got to meet both Dano and Hirsch (and other celebs) a few weeks ago at an awards thingy and I joked around asking if Chris was there and she replied saying "ew!"
Wtf, "ew"? Either way, I'm glad she didn't get to meet him if he had attended. I dislike it when folks meet people I want to meet and they don't even care for them as much.
DUB! That was the term I was looking for.. Anyway, that's cool that your VCR still works, Melody.

I actually didn't care much for Judith's character either. In fact, I thought she was the one Adam (ahem) with since I read spoilers practically everywhere (they just didn't mention a name) so I already had a sort of prejudice towards her, but after a while, especially in P.O.V, she grew on me. However, I was kind of unaffected by her passing as well. Like Melody, I felt more for Joan. Oh, and I was also bummed out for Friedman. In the end, she was a very cool, well-rounded character.. esp. since she wasn't the one Adam (ahem) with, hahaha.
It's amazing how one word may mean something to you in one way, but to another person, it's completely different... wait, that's a lot of things and words.
Haha, Melody, go on ;P
Just watch it when it plays on the 16th. I have to wake up at 8, but Chris is worth it.
I trust you, Deb. Plus, I think the movie will be funny on the Sci Fi channel, anyway- with their ways of blocking profanity and whatnot.
SCI FI Sat, Feb 16, 11:00 AM Freddy vs. Jason
I'm actually excited for this one since I haven't seen it. I already know it's going to be lame, but I'm sure Chris and Jason will make it tolerable at least. Hopefully. YES THEY WILL.
Hahaha, Susanna, I'm kind of similar, just that guys are either sexy or cute for me. "Sexy" involves personality, looks, style- the whole shebang. "Cute" is just solely on looks ;P
I hardly ever use "sexy" unless it's in regards to some 'celebrities'.
"Cool" is my "sexy" for 'normal' folks I know in my life, haha.
Yeah, I saw the movie a while back when it played on FOX and one of the few scenes I remember was seeing his butt, haha. Wait, FOX actually showed nudity? That or I saw it on tape; don't remember.
