Had a great day in Mannheim, but the journey back home wasn't as great at all ... loads of drunk people on train and a very rude train conductor on the one to Stuttgart ... I've never met a conductor this rude in 10 years of traveling, seriously.
And when I was waiting for the metro back to my hometown I was sitting on one of the benches, thinking about RingCon and other stuff, suddenly a drunk woman half-fell on my, that wasn't a nice experience either. She only noticed when I moved a few inches away and said sorry but I still didn't find it amusing. I want to know whose idea it was to bring on the Munich Oktoberfest and the Stuttgart Volksfest on the same weekend ...
I want a massage, too. I think last night I made some bad movements with my neck while I was sleeping because when I woke up it was hurting when I tried to move it in a certain way.
I'm going on a Day trip to Mannheim tomorrow to meet with Kristin, who is also coming to RingCon in three weeks.
Yeah, Dark Horse isn't exactly their best album, though it features my most favorite of their songs, I'd Come For You. I also like Never Gonna Be Alone and If Today Was Your Last Day, but I hardly ever listened to the rest.
Anne, I think you're gonna like this: www.nickelback.com ==> two new songs to listen to. Love the first one. New album in November.

Wow, THANK YOU SO MUCH for that tip!
Ugh, I'm kinda pissed. Mariana had to cancel RingCon. I was so happy to be meeting Bill's maker!
Still worried about Sam. I could understand if he cancels due to the birth of his twins, but it would still suck.
That looks friggin' scary ...
My mom said she'd sponsor me an adult class for learning how to use Excel properly, looks like I'll be joining you soon, too ...
I have no idea how long I sleep, I just know that I don't sleep good at all lately. Plus I started to fall asleep while watching TV, so the TV is running all night. That's not good either. ![]()
OMG, thanks for that link!
I just realized it was my first "premiere" too. Although I don't call it a premiere, I call it a "special screening". LOL
That would be great if Amber was still on the show. I would want more House/JoA crossovers. LOL
Nice picture. Alex is scheduled for RingCon, too. I wonder if he'll make it this year. He's been announced for the past two years and always had to cancel last minute.
I like the trailer. I just hope they won't show any more of Bella's wedding dress. I want the whole big screen experience. If I saw it before it'd totally ruin the movie for me.
I wish I could see it on big screen again, even though I already saw it twice there. And in different countries, too. LOL
LOL @ the pictures. Sam is such a goofball! ![]()
Never been to any of my reunions.
Me neither. I was only invited once and I didn't have time then and also, the memories were still too painful.
I think it would be funny if noone would recognize me, but that's kinda impossible since I'll always be the girl with the birthmarks all over her face.
I have very light blond eyebrows. You can barely see them,
It's the same with me. My eyebrows and eyelashes are very, very light blond, even more than my head hair. I do not put on make up that often but if I have to I always need to be careful because when camouflage covers my face my birthmarks the face looks too "empty" if I don't define my brows but it can't be too dark because that would make me look weird. I actually wonder if anyone would notice if I shaved them off ... but I'm not going to try that! LOL
What a stupid but funny idea. ![]()
EDIT: Oh God, I wish I never scrolled down to Pattinson ... he can definitely NOT do the browless thing ...
What a difference a few hairs make, huh?
A little strange maybe. There is not much "plot" like in a normal movie, some characters just have their own storylines and they are all connected to each other in one or another way. But Amber does a great performance. Orlando Bloom plays her boyfriend (or at least his character thinks he is her boyfriend) and they don't even share a kiss! Kinda disappointing. LOL And it's a really unusual experience to see Colin Firth, who is British, as a Texan.
Congrats!
Happy Birthday, Simon!
I can't see it but I trust you.
Have you all heard about her new movie 'Main Street?"
"Main Street": The denizens of Durham, N.C., must adjust to a newcomer (Colin Firth) toting some unusual products. The script by playwright Horton Foote has been described as low-key, with a cast that includes Orlando Bloom, Patricia Clarkson and Amber Tamblyn.http://www.heraldnet.com/article/20110901/ENT/709029995
Love Colin Firth. Think I remember hearing about it a while back but didn't know Amber was involved. Sounds good!
I have even seen this movie already. ![]()
You might have noticed by now, but if not, I was gone for a few days this past week because we had a rather "huge" family event last weekend: The church wedding of my brother and his wife. It was exciting and exhausting, but a lot of fun and I was happy because my "Irish parents" came for the wedding and I could talk to them a lot. I will share some pictures when I get home later, but for now I am still trapped at my parents's place, so I just wanted to announce that I am back.
Well, it's impossible to remember 4000 pictures. Or how many do we have again? I think I need to look at them again.
