#705 Re: All About Chris » A Note From Chris! » 13 Jul 11 :: 01:30

How have I missed the new update from Chris?  Good to hear the news although he sounds very tired and hopeful.  Such a tough business to be in.  I couldn't imagine going to audition after audition.  Keeping fingers crossed for his new projects!

#706 Re: Chris On Screen » The Education Of Charlie Banks » 08 Jul 11 :: 04:14

I actually did too Deb!  I haven't watched it that many times but the first time within the first 10 minutes I stopped watching it.  Then I thought, well all the actors I like are in it so its gotta get better so I gave it a second chance.  I changed my rating on netflix from two stars to four stars once I saw the entire movie.  Its definately one that you have to sit the entire thing through to enjoy the thoroughness of it in my opinion.

#707 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Dreams... snakes » 07 Jul 11 :: 22:13

I had several dreams last night about walking in cold, rainy and dark courtyards.  One courtyard was at a house, the other was in the old hotel I use to work at and then the third dream didn't take place in a courtyard but it was still outside in a big city that looked like New York.  It was still cold, rainy and dark there too.  Pretty creepy huh?

#708 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Book Thread » 07 Jul 11 :: 22:11

good to know.  Will put it on the list. I have several waiting and I just added on 'The Book Thief.'  Several people have recommended it to me.

#709 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 07 Jul 11 :: 22:09

good luck!!!! Positive thoughts sent your way smile

Hahaha speaking of Girl with the Dragon Tattoo....I have finished it myself not too long ago and onto the second, Girl who played with Fire. Hope you enjoy the read. I thought it was excellent, but a little too much background at the start for my liking. Takes a while to get into the meaty part of the story

Completely agree Kate about the beginning.  I read for a good hour or so at Barnes and Nobles yesterday and had issues focusing a bit because I wasn't anticipating so much background.  After about 50 pages in I'm finally introduced to Lisbet.

Hope the story on Alpha Dog is interesting Deb.

Thats so soon! I hope you really like your job!

It is soon.  But its okay I guess.  I do like my job, just not the waking up at 5am and working 12 hour day parts! I get exhausted thinking about it.  However I love my kiddos so that's what I try to focus on the most!

#712 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Book Thread » 05 Jul 11 :: 18:54

Just finished 'The Shinning.' Excellent Read.  Onto 'Girl with the Dragon Tatoo.' I'm always a bit late with the popular ones.

#713 Re: Chris On Screen » Reality Check - New Project! » 05 Jul 11 :: 18:53

Love the stills.  I like Chris' shirt that he's wearing in the restaurant scenes.  There was a really good restaurant in Dallas called Cuba Libre that is unfortunately no longer there sad

#717 Re: Chris On Screen » Infestation (SPOILERS FOR THE MOVIE BEGIN ON PAGE 15) » 30 Jun 11 :: 22:43

My brother and his wife finally got 'Infestation' from their netflix queue.  They loved it and especially 'that guy' in the movie.  They thought Chris was hillarious, which he is in the movie!

Shoot, she and Chris are so good together, they should date!  LOL!  I wonder if she's part of their little gang of friends.  She just really fit right in with them.

Agree Deb. They'd make a cute couple!

Glad you all liked the trailer Marvalus and jet-plane.  I wish it would get put on the air too.  Doesn't seem like there are lots of good comedies in the mix this fall season...

#722 Re: Chris On Screen » Reality Check - New Project! » 20 Jun 11 :: 16:37

Kate & Deb: I knew I recognized her but just couldn't figure it out! Wow!  She is awesome.  Hope she and Chris could do a full feature together.  I loved their conversations & chemistry!  In the short times they had in that trailer they really took the show I thought.  So natural.  I bet she had good chemistry with Anton Yelchin too.

#723 Re: Chris On Screen » Reality Check - New Project! » 19 Jun 11 :: 20:21

The girl Chris is talking to in the restaurant looks familiar.  Have they been in something together?  I was thinking Graduation.  She Chris kicked butt in those scenes smile

#724 Re: Chris On Screen » Choose Connor (a.k.a. The Politician) » 19 Jun 11 :: 20:14

was this released or posted on the internet?  I somehow missed this one....

#725 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 19 Jun 11 :: 07:58

Sounds like you had a good b-day!  So glad you enjoyed wild adventures.

Another sleepless night.  My dog somehow managed to get through two doors (they were both locked, but old doors with much force could be opened even locked) back into the house.  That and the police car giving a traffic violation next door to me were enough to scare the bejebus out of me! smile  It will be miles before I go to sleep as they say!
