Yah I hope that they stay true to the story. Imagine how cool it will look with all the effects they can create now. Even the castles and such they can create if they don't want to use real backdrops! OH goshy this should be good. Now another question.. what to do about the soundtrack:o! oh thats something else.. will they use modern music or like the more classical kind. Either way im interested to see who else is cast.

I usually dont care either way for slip covers other then they are annoying to keep taking on and off. Bah. I liked the special features. Also in Canada there was tons of marketing on tv for the release. ON monday i saw the commercial for the dvd at least 20 times in 2 hours:P I was like eeeee soon!!

I think honestly the coolest dvd thingy i have ever gotten extra was my monkees dvds.
Both season 1 and 2 come in a box thats shaped like a record player. Its so funky! and its great too because there are soo many dvds.

#3 Re: Square Eyes » In Praise of Chris's Colleagues » 03 Jun 09 :: 18:39

agreed. I saw an adaptation of romeo and juliet where they tried to.. it was sOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO boring :fedup:

#4 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 03 Jun 09 :: 18:38

woah what is yours? The slip is that then the front cover is all of them in the star wars pose.. they are all dressed differently like theres the skipmy costume and stuff and then chris is actually in a chewbacka head

#5 Re: Square Eyes » In Praise of Chris's Colleagues » 03 Jun 09 :: 17:31

does anyone know if they are going to keep it as written or will they change it to everyday lingo

#6 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 03 Jun 09 :: 17:30

#8 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Garages/Yard Sale finds » 03 Jun 09 :: 07:05

I am not big on garage sales.. yet this year at least. Not alot in the area. But we have tons of thrift stores I go to regularly. some of my items bought include

Mens xl shirt $3
Tommy the movie Front: lyrics
Back: that deaf dumb and blind kid sure plays a mean pinball.. i need to take a picture

Disney figurine $10
its a 1940-1960 style Cinderella.. she has a porcelain face and on ebay people are selling her for as high as 80

Chef spice rack: $5
Includes 10 little chef guys. 2 are salt and pepper shakers. It also includes the wooden spice rack to hold them
The other 8 chef guys' hats come off and you can store differnent spices in them

Taz Cookie jar: $4.00
Its this amazing cookie jar of taz from looney toones in a hurricane of cookie parts. his head comes off and hes a cookie jar. The whole cookie jar is mostly his head its fairly large and printed and not hand made.

Tie for my boyfriend: .50
Its a silk tie with all the old computers and printers from the 90s.
Hes currently working this summer in British Columbia as an engineering student so this is on its way to be shipped!!

I have found tons of great deals on dishes and things for the move!

So dorquette ladies!!! I have just returned from an evening out. Guess what I saw.. teehee. It was epic! First off it was an okay turn out more then I thought would show up. The Mayfair is an older theater in Ottawa which has been revamped with couches and new seating and amazing service. My step dad and I sat in a couch with an foot stool and a table it was sooo comfy and so worth the 10 bucks admission. Now I wont go into too much detail about the movie to spoil it. Chris was AMAZING. The outfits.. were  HOT. And there are some special surprises for you when you watch it let me reassure you;). Deb, Tina email me if you want a bit more detail. Ritter.. was.. scary with how well he did his character and overall it is a very moving movie. Also... i got some goodies. They were handing out little cards with "who is Charlie banks" and on the back there is some info on the movie. Also when I was leaving I scored a FREE Charlie banks official t shirt. It is black and on the front it says the website. On the back it says the education of Charlie banks and has a quote from people magazine. It is defiantly going into my box of goodies from Chris including the amazing fan boys comic as well as my the invisible outfit. Now I am very torn on who the second shirt I own to should go to. Girls theres a few of you and only one t. Deb, Tina Anne. I don't know how to decide:( any ideas? As i am not frequently on the message board email me kay? busy day tomorrow but ill try to respond. Love all of you lots. Tons. OODLES. And I was so excited to know that I could give you just a bit of insight into this amazing project Chris did.

#24 Re: All About Chris » Questions For Chris (and Sean)... » 08 Apr 08 :: 17:17

I thought of a question last night! Well as many of you may not be aware of I am a HUGE saturday night live fan. like HUGE. Because chris was on snl as a kid i had a question for him more like  2.

One: Even though you were younger when you were on saturday night live have u ever had the urge to host? Is it something youd like to do .. the whole live television thing.

Two: If u are a huge snler like moi... what are 3 of your all time favourite spoofs, spots or peice from saturday night live. Mine include: bass o matic with dan akroyd, motivational speaker with chris farley and night at the rox bery when jim carey was hosting.
