Ok you may or may not have heard of this before....but basically the premise is if you had a choice which 3 people would you most like to go to dinner with/be stuck on an island with....there are many variations but i take it to be who you would most like to spend some proper time with.

There are some people i find absolutely fascinating. And SOOOOO many brains that i would love to pick. However i think if i had to choose it would probably be

1. Chris -derrr dont think that counts though seeing as we are on his fansite

so other 3 would be

1. Sacha Baron Cohen
2. Dave Grohl
3. Barak Obama

Gah now i have listed those i wanna add more/change them already.

All choices up there are:

Drew Barrymore, Stephen King, Bob Hawke, Mark Occolupo, Lance Armstrong, Tony Hawke, Matt Groening, Tim Minchin, Mark "Chopper" Reed, Christine Nixon, Dawn Fraser......etc

Im sure people will have many different ones. LET ME KNOW!

#618 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 16 Jul 09 :: 06:17

Hahaha sort of, but mostly the right name. Currently have Jake, Gizmo and Muffin. And yeah its either proper names or Jakey, Geemo, Muffy, Muffster, and Muffoon. But more often than not its the names they were given. But i have heard of that before. For ages i thought my friends cat was named Man, cos thats what they called it but it was sposed to be something predictable like Fluffy or whatever. But got the nicname Man cos it acted like it thought it was human. That was kinda random.

Which leads me to my next random thought. My nephew refers to people as "humans". Saying it like that doesnt make it sound random at all, but it is when he will say human instead of him or her, or them. Like he will say "See that human over there, she has pretty hair" "This human in my class today said ...." Anyway i find it funny......*dont mind me*

#619 Re: Square Eyes » Which 2009/2010 movies are you most looking forward to? » 16 Jul 09 :: 05:59

Mmmmmm i just checked out the trailer on youtube. I think its going to be a movie that will be uncomfortably close to my life. But it does look pretty brilliant.

That and i do agree with her, i dont think you FALL in love. I think its something that grows and develops over time and you choose to nurture it. I think anything instant is going to be lust or a crush, and that can develop into love but usually just ends in hurt when people dont match expectations. I think this is going to be a movie that will have me talking for a long time after it. Thanks Deb, i will most definitely be keeping an eye out for it. Pity its not out here till September sad

#620 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Dreams... snakes » 16 Jul 09 :: 02:23

Hehehe i have no idea why the guy brought a sack of venous snakes. But he seemed kinda proud to say that he had been bitten by them a few times and nearly died like 5 times but he got to hospital in time. This was one of the strangest people i had ever met. Not sure my school knew what they were getting into when they invited him into class. But you would have never seen 30 girls move so fast than when he lifted the sack upside down and dumped the snakes out. If it consoles you any i have lived here my entire life, gone to the beach without fail every year at least 10 times and have never seen a shark.

Ok well that is a lie i have seen a shark. But only cos my dad caught it while fishing. And it wasnt anything like Jaws. It was probably the size of my foot. So i dont think that counts. I dont even know of anyone that has come into contact with a shark. And my brother was insanely into surfing when he was younger and was out every other day, and i know a fair few lifeguards.

#621 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Jacko had a heart attack » 16 Jul 09 :: 02:10

I always felt so sorry for him and his family. He just was always so talented but seemed like such a soft soul that the limelight just destroyed him

#622 Re: Introduce Yourself » Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it » 16 Jul 09 :: 01:57

#623 Re: Introduce Yourself » Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it » 16 Jul 09 :: 01:55

Ok...so....in an attempt to change the subject. With your list of favourite actors Rochelle....did you ever get into Freaks and Geeks? I loved that show smile

#624 Re: Chris On Screen » Alpha Dog (STRONG LANGUAGE & ADULT CONTENT) » 16 Jul 09 :: 01:45

I really only know this story from what was portrayed in the movie. But i do know that "based on true story" doesnt always mean documentary. It must have felt so drawn out for all the families involved.

#625 Re: Introduce Yourself » Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it » 16 Jul 09 :: 01:24

Thats just unfair....talking about summer like that. I am so cold over here sad
